Founding UX Design Function:

  • She created Design Org, processes, and frameworks to create a consistent design process across the organization to lead innovation. Her design processes have become a standard practice referred to as Design Delivery Process in ValueLabs

  • She created the branding for ValueLabs after 23 years, strategized, and worked with her team to create a Design System for ValueLabs to create great UX at scale and create consistent messaging in all mediums and touch-points.

  • To cater to a diversity of clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to startups she created different models of engagements that are creating great business for ValueLabs and Clients.

  • To create opportunities for the newly found function she worked with cross-functional stakeholders to take the offering to 400+ clients across the ValueLabs business in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Through customized innovation workshop sprints, she was able to attract clients worldwide by providing value through design strategy and solutions.

  • To create the greatest value for Clients and earn their trust, She works alongside designers and provides strategic vision and creative leadership, and is not afraid to roll her sleeves and work hands-on. The quality obsession with innovative solutions and  punctual delivery has made her win clients and later on earn 170+ awards for her work which includes Red Dot, Good Design Awards, German Design Awards, and many others

  • She served a variety of industries including Data, Media and entertainment, Adtech, Edtech, Data, HCM, etc., and by creating a hub of best practices and building on the innovation she was able to provide innovation to companies worldwide.

  • Project lifecycle and documentation: She created frameworks and Structures for project planning for time and budget estimations, scoping framework, design proposals, portfolio pitches, sales support documents, and meeting formats.

Team Building and Nurturing:

  • She created roles in Design practice that are modeled around the skillsets and interests of designers accommodating and promoting unique individuals over a one-size-fits-all approach. Her meritocratic vision and mentorship ensured that designers find work purposeful, meaningful, and fulfilling leading to the retention of around ~90% of designers in highly competitive markets.

  • She created the roles and responsibilities of hiring, promoting, and pay structures for the team encompassing various different streams of design roles in UX research, design strategy, brand strategy, interaction, service design, digital product design Visual design: UI, graphic, animation, etc.

  • She created many learning and growth opportunities for the team to get trained on including design subject matter, behavioral, social, and collaboration skills. This meant coaching 1:1 creating methods and breaking down difficult problems into chunks to explain and derive solutions.

  • She often trains freshers and instills creative confidence which has led to their rapid growth and design maturity. These designers have grown and many have gone on to become design leads starting from intern positions within 3-4 years.

  • She created L&D initiatives by handpicking coaches by understanding the team’s needs apart from coaching herself and utilizing ValueLabs’ internal trainers.

  • She created a Learning platform, Design Inspire, to inspire designers at ValueLabs and create value and leadership for ValueLabs in Design Industry. It has also led ValueLabs to recruit top-level talent as she often teaches in these programs and recruits from this initiative.

  • She created various rituals which help the team get the most out of peer learning, and get a diverse perspective on the projects. This led to promoting a feeling of belonging and a psychologically safe environment to learn, experiment, and make mistakes.

  • she encourages creativity through various different strategies and training the next generation of design leaders.

Influencing through storytelling:

  • She speaks at the flagship event of ValueLabs, Inspire, often demonstrating the value of design and helping clients learn and take advantage of the offerings. This also contributes to generating interest and winning new clients. 

  • She envisioned and created an Experience center along with her team at ValueLabs, to talk about design expertise in experiential, immersive, and narrative formats. The first exhibition saw 1500+ footfall which included clients, employees, academicians, and students.

  • She pioneered the Innovative traveling new media exhibitions for Inspire annual conference at ValueLabs. The conference is held for ValueLabs High network clients and prospects and is held in Las Vegas and London. It received positive reviews resulting in greater visibility for clients and more business.

  • She pivoted to Virtual  exhibitions during the Pandemic to help customers generate value through ValueLabs offerings showcasing the work in various technologies and offerings of ValueLabs

  • She leads New Media initiatives to create cutting-edge innovation through AI, metaverse, and next-gen tech like smart glasses to create meaningful applications and immersive storytelling in various media.
