Design Process AKA Design Delivery Doc

As a Design Leader who had to build the UX practice from scratch, one of the opportunities that Kadambari had at ValueLabs was to create a design process for serving clients. Considering various business problems and design maturity, she outlined different models and related processes. The presentation below showcases the standard process she has developed for the Design Consulting Practice.

This standard process aids the team and stakeholders in comprehending the design process, project timelines, and delivery expectations. By precisely articulating the processes, it fostered a transparent environment, eliminating guesswork in planning. This enabled different teams to anticipate and strategize for the successful project execution. While the provided outline offers a template for engagement, it might vary based on the project and its objectives.

Furthermore, this document has served as training material for new designers joining the team. The meticulous documentation approach Kadambari established for each project has contributed to building a knowledge base. Additionally, it has evolved into a tool that designers use for introspection and process evaluation.
